Cracker Barrel is a restaurant that thrives on its Southern charm, homestyle meals, and welcoming atmosphere. It looks like it might get a little more welcoming in the near future, as it introduces beer, wine, and mimosas at nearly all of its locations.

Previously, the chain had tested serving alcoholic drinks at a few of its locations in June. It began as a limited run, but was extremely successful. As a result, Cracker Barrel will now be extending its boozy offerings next year and will be in about 600 stores by the end of 2020.

The initial test was so popular, according to president and CEO Sandra B. Cochran, that it was first expanded from 20 stores to 100. Mimosas have been the most popular item on the menu. The current selection includes orange and strawberry, which people are thrilled to be sipping on.

There will also be a special seasonal mimosa tested in Florida restaurant soon enough. Some locations will also offer special take-home mimosa kits as well, so you don’t have to risk your health by dining out during the pandemic.

There’s no word just yet on which locations will be getting the full beer, wine, and mimosa menu just yet. You’ll have to keep your eyes open if you decide to head out to the chain soon. It could become your new favorite go-to place for brunch.
