Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers are reportedly calling it quits. The rumors began to swirl after fans noticed that the former NASCAR driver unfollowed the Green Bay Packers star quarterback on social media.
On July 16, Patrick seemingly scrubbed her social media profile of evidence of their relationship. The most recent photos of the two together on social media appeared to be from February and April of this year.
The last photo of the former couple on Instagram together shows them on a hiking adventure at Machu Picchu. The two claim they made it back home in the nick of time before the coronavirus lockdown.
Earlier this year, one of Rodgers’ teammates pressured him to propose. Patrick spoke about the idea of getting engaged during an appearance on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM radio show.
“You know what, that’s one of those things, you can’t be attached to something going a certain way because if you really want something to happen, there’s that equal energy of being afraid that it’s not going to happen,” Patrick said. “So you just have to let it go and be like, ‘Well, am I having fun today? Yup.’ Then life’s good.’”
In April, Patrick took to her Instagram stories to answer a fan question about dating Rodgers. At the time, there were no signs of trouble between the two. “If you like a partner who is extremely attractive, super intelligent, very thoughtful, patient (lord knows I can be stubborn), loves to travel, is open-minded, is into growing in this life, and can ball. Ya, it’s pretty amazing,” she told People.
Neither Danica Patrick nor Aaron Rodgers have commented on the breakup news.
