As the days keep passing, the pressure to find Brian Laundrie increases too. Developments at the FBI’s search within the Carlton Reserve continue to stall with no evidence pointing to Brian’s hideout there whatsoever. A timeline of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s last week can be accessed here, but ultimately, he is just as stuck. As his team continues to look into their latest lead (Walmart surveillance), Dog refuses to back down.
He continues to question the Laundrie family’s morals, often calling both Brian and his parents guilty of something, even if he doesn’t know all the details from behind-the-scenes. He even goes so far as to say that these ill ethics may eventually lead to the family’s downfall together. In a recent interview, he specifically states that Brian Laundrie is likely to sell his parents out in the event of his capture.
Dog the Bounty Hunter Says This Happens 99.9% of the Time
In another sit down with media, Dog the Bounty Hunter unleashed more about the profiling of Brian Laundrie and his parents. He said it may very well be true that neither parent knows exactly where Brian is at. “You don’t know if he’s standing in the park across the street or behind the golf course.” Dog says he sees right through the web of lies surrounding Brian’s whereabouts, however, and they surely know his vicinity.
He also relays what the aftermath of Brian Laundrie’s capture could look like. From his experience catching the bad guys, authors tend to seek out criminals in prison. Here, they offer the criminals a full-on book deal and autobiography ghostwrite to help with commissary money in exchange for the truth. It echoes the aftermath of the OJ Simpson trial and the “If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer” book to his name after.
“99.9% of these criminals, tell the truth,” says Dog. “‘Oh my mom and dad helped me out, but I made them.’”
He thinks Brian’s got nothing left to lose and would jump at that opportunity. Dog the Bounty Hunter looked visibly disgusted when he angrily stated “he’s gonna rat off Mom and Dad. If he’s going to kill his girlfriend, who he loves- he’s going to tell on mom and dad.”
Update to Brian Laundrie Sighting in the Appalachian Trail
The FBI recently met with a hiker from the Appalachian Trail who is completely sure he ran into Brian Laundrie on the trail. He reported that Brian was acting rather strange and even mentioned he needed to get to California “to see his girlfriend.” While the details surrounding their meeting stay behind closed doors as the FBI does their due diligence, reporters now share the exact pinpoint location of the alleged Laundrie sighting.
Josh Benson is a local Florida reporter typically involved in coverage of the North Port area. He shared this map:
Got the exact location where Dennis Davis claimed to have spoken to #BrianLaundrie. Here are few views of the pin. Some of you requested the distance from the sighting to the recent body found near Boone, NC. About 2.5 hours. Again, NOT related to #Laundrie as we know for now. pic.twitter.com/XSyNtvJJW4— Josh Benson (@WFLAJosh) October 10, 2021
