Dog the Bounty Hunter made a startling claim regarding the Gabby Petitio case.
In a new interview with The Sun, the reality star alleged that witnesses told him that Brian Laundrie was physical. He reported that Laundrie put his hand over her mouth after Petito apparently tried yelling out for help.
“I know that she was very verbal because as they were arguing one time, the vacationers around them heard her yelling,” Dog the Bounty Hunter told the outlet.
It is unknown which witness he is referencing or which altercation he is speaking about. You’ll recall that the couple argued on August 12 in Moab, Utah when the police were called. The police that was called believed that Petito was the aggressor. Authorities were criticized on how they handled the incident. The full hour-long bodycam footage was released along with the 9-1-1 call. The caller said that Laundrie was the one that attacked her and despite that, police determined that Laundrie was not the aggressor.
“I know that he calmed her down usually by grabbing her mouth. Like this. Because when you grab someone’s mouth like that you know she was verbal,” Dog added. He demonstrated how Laundrie allegedly grabbed her face.
Dog the Bounty Hunter and Gabby Petito’s Case
Dog the Bounty Hunter has been on the Gabby Petito case for quite some time. Reports suggest that he does not have a bail bonds/bounty hunting license in the state of Florida. However, Chapman has went back home to Colorado for now.
“DOG. Just got an update from Dog the Bounty Hunter’s team. They say he’s headed back to Colorado soon to meet with his doctor after injuring his ankle in the search,” a WFLA reporter tweeted. “He’s also raising funds to continue what he calls an ‘expensive search.'”
Dog the Bounty Hunter was in Florida on his honeymoon when the Petito case caught the media’s attention. He has now put together a group of locals called the “Florida Team” that will continue with the search. Meanwhile, Dog will be processing leads at home.
Lyssa Chapman tweeted that her family was asked not to share active information regarding the case. So, don’t expect any revealing updates just yet! She will also continue to work with her father and his team on the Brian Laundrie missing person’s case.
In another interview with The Sun, Dog believes that he could be a serial killer. He and his new wife Francie discovered his social media footprint which they describe as “terrifying.”
“There are pictures of demonic angels standing there with the sword, and the throat bleeding. There is blood squirting from their eyes,” he revealed. When Francie saw his posts, she got goosebumps.
