Dog the Bounty Hunter Thinks He’s ‘Closest to Finding’ Brian Laundrie

Dog the Bounty Hunter is deep into his search for Gabby Petito’s missing finance’ Brian Laundrie. And the scorned reality star believes he’s hot on the fugitives trail.

Dog joined the hunt for Laundrie shortly after the remains of his murdered van life partner were found inside a Wyoming state park in mid-September. And from the very start, Dog has been certain he’ll locate Laundrie and turn him into the FBI.

And he has a message for Laundrie’s lawyer, who Dog doesn’t trust. “I’m gonna tell you right now lawyer,” he said during an interview with The Sun. “I’m gonna catch him.”

Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman says he’s received over 3,500 calls about Brian Laundrie’s location. Dog admits that half of them are fans calling to say “hello,” but the rest are really good leads. And they’re working on those tips “one at a time.”

Dog the Bounty Hunter also noted that if Laundrie is talking to his lawyer through his parents, that lawyer is going to be in a lot of trouble.

“This client right privileges has really gone too far,” he added. But he doesn’t think the attorney is “stupid” enough to make that mistake.

Dog does, however, think the lawyer may be turning a blind eye to communications with Laundrie and his family though. He may be telling his clients that he “doesn’t wanna hear that” or “you can’t tell me that” because the bounty hunter has caught the attorney in a few lies. And he desperately wants Dog off the case.

“What [the lawyer] wants to say is ‘Oh, we need this Dog to go away.’” Duane added. “He’s mentioned me by name right out.—instead of the dog, a dog.”

Dog the Bounty Hunter Believes Brian Laundrie Will ‘Rat’ on His Parents If Caught

Dog the Bounty Hunter is nearly a month into his search for Brian Laundrie. And he has a hunch that Brian’s parents know where their son is. But Dog said that if Christopher and Roberta Laundrie are complicit, Brian will eventually rat them out.

In a candid interview with The Sun, Dog said that the Laundries may not know their son’s exact location. Saying that “You don’t know if he’s standing in the park across the street or behind the golf course.” But Christopher and Roberta probably gave a general idea of where the fugitive is hanging out.

And when Dog the Bounty Hunter finds Brian—which he’s certain he will—Brian will likely confess that his parents knew his whereabouts the entire time. Dog added that these cases always end with the same story.

“99.9% of these criminals, tell the truth,” he said. “‘Oh my mom and dad helped me out, but I made them.’”
