Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Potential Brian Laundrie Manhunt Show Reportedly Shot Down by Another Major Network

23-year-old fugitive Brian Laundrie remains at large almost a month after his parents reported him missing. Authorities continue search efforts for the wanted suspect. Meanwhile, Dog the Bounty Hunter remains relatively vocal concerning his own pursuit of Laundrie.

Now, however, the celebrity faces legal threats and lawsuits. In addition, the bounty hunter reportedly saw rejection following proposals for a television show featuring his search for Brian Laundrie.

PopCulture reports Chapman’s potential show or special saw rejection from at least one major network.

Prior to his renewed interest in television-related pursuits, the celebrity starred in several earlier documentary programs of his own. One ran on CMT, entitled “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.”

His earlier program includes “Dog the Bounty Hunter.” More recently, he’s appeared in WGN America‘s “Dog’s Most Wanted” followed by a since-canceled program, “Dog Unleashed.”

As far as Chapman’s search goes, he shared on Instagram he and his team have employed boat crews and ground teams. He also reported the use and deployment of rescue dogs. September 29th saw the bounty hunter on a campsite “deep in the woods” while searching Shell Island off of Florida. The crew found a fresh Monster can lacking signs of rust or faded colors.

Professionals Believe Brian Laundrie May ‘Drive Himself Insane’

22-year-old vlogger Gabby Petito was confirmed dead earlier this month, soon after the young woman’s boyfriend, Brian Laundrie went missing. Autopsy reports confirm she suffered death by homicide. Now, while the search efforts continue, professionals believe Laundrie may drive himself insane while on the run.

Robert Urban of the Urban Survival Academy told CNN, “Florida’s climate is very, very difficult.” In referencing Laundrie’s potential location within the state, he continued, “I am an expert with plenty of experience, and it would be everything that I could do to survive for [more] than three weeks.” Laundrie’s parents reported the 23-year-old missing September 17th, almost four weeks ago.

Another survival expert, Jason Marsteiner of The Survival University, shared his own input regarding Laundrie’s situation. “Twenty-five days in that area,” presumably Florida’s Carlton Reserve, “is extremely tough. I wouldn’t want to do it and I’ve got jungle training.”

He further explained, “[Brian Laundrie] is not sleeping well. And when you don’t sleep you slowly drive yourself insane.”

He added that a lack of sleep would contribute to bad decisions which would cause the fugitive to inadvertently reveal his location, sustain injuries, or even die.

However, on the other hand, we can’t help but wonder whether Brian Laundrie even remains alive. North Port Police Officer Josh Taylor previously said, “I guess if we had to put odds on [Laundrie being alive] I would say [50-50] is pretty close.”
