President Donald Trump is giving a shout-out to Goya products on social media. Earlier this week, the President took to Instagram to share a new photo from the Oval Office.

The post comes after Goya Foods President Robert Unanue praised the President for the job he is doing in the White House. President Trump’s opposition responded by calling for a boycott of the Hispanic foods company.

The photo shows the President giving two thumbs up to the camera while seated at his desk in the Oval Office. On his desk lie an assortment of various Goya food products.

Last week, Unanue publicly commended the President at the White House during a roundtable discussion with Hispanic Leaders. Mr. President, what can I tell you? I’m so blessed to be here in the most prosperous country in the world, the greatest country in the world,” Unanue said. “And we’re so blessed to have you as our leader, as we continue to build this country and make it the most prosperous nation in the world.”

Unanue’s words garnered heavy criticism online with politicians and celebrities calling for a boycott of the Hispanic Foods company. Following the roundtable, critics like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took aim at Goya foods using hashtags like #BoycottGoya.

President Trump and his daughter, White House advisor Ivanka Trump, both took to social media to show support for the company. On July 14, Ivanka posted a photo of herself with a can of Goya beans. “If It’s Goya, it has to be good,” she captioned the photo.

Similar to her father’s post, Ivanka’s photo was met with a mixed reaction. Some voiced their support of her and the Hispanic foods products while others slammed the Trumps for promoting the company. Learn more here.
