On Tuesday afternoon, President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., tweeted a message to voters on Election Day asking them to stay in line and vote as if their “freedom depends on it.”

The Philly GOP Twitter account posted that tons of people showed up to the polls to vote for President Trump. But, as impressive of a turnout as it is, the polling lines had a four-hour wait.

“So many people are showing up to vote for @realDonaldTrump in New Hanover, there’s a 4 hour wait at the polls!” Philly GOP tweeted. “Incredible turnout in Montgomery County! @MontcoPaGOP @PAGOP #PAforTrump”

Additionally, Trump Jr. retweeted the group’s post and pleaded with voters to stay in line. The president’s son added his own message for voters.

“Don’t leave. Stay in line like your freedom depends on it… because it does,” he wrote.

Trump Jr. is hoping that the long wait times will not discourage voters from casting their ballot for his father. He even said voters’ freedom depends on it.

Trump Jr. Shares Celebrity Endorsements of His Father

Trump Jr. has been active on social media in the weeks following up to the election. The president’s son has often retweeted endorsements for his dad by other famous athletes, musicians, and actors.

On Thursday, he retweeted a post about legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus endorsing President Trump. The iconic golfer urged undecided voters to consider re-electing the president. Trump Jr. shared the golfer’s endorsement by reposting an article about Nicklaus’ statement. His message read: “‘The Golden Bear’ Legend, Jack Nicklaus Endorses Donald J. Trump for President.”

In addition, Trump Jr. took to Instagram last week when famous rapper Lil Wayne met with his father and seemingly endorsed him afterward.

Lil Wayne – real name Dwayne Carter Jr. – shared about the meeting on his official Twitter account, saying it went great.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” Carter wrote.

Trump’s son could not contain his excitement as he reposted the photo of his dad and Carter Jr. smiling for the camera while giving a thumbs up.

“Yasssssss!!! @liltunechi and @realdonaldtrump” Trump Jr. wrote on Instagram while adding three American flag emojis.

Other celebrity endorsements of Trump include musician Kid Rock, rapper Lil Pump, actor Jon Voight, actress Kirstie Alley, and former NFL players Brett Favre and Herschel Walker.
