Donald Trump is wasting no time in sharing his reaction to Joe Biden selecting Kamala Harris as his running mate. Shortly after the news broke on Tuesday afternoon, the President took to Twitter to post a video blasting both Biden and the California Senator.

Over the course of the 30-second video, the President lays out a series of criticisms towards the Democratic Presidential candidate and his new running mate. “Kamala Harris ran for president by rushing to the radical left. Embracing Bernie’s plan for socialized medicine. Calling for trillions in new taxes. Attacking Joe Biden for racist policies.”

“Voters rejected Harris,” the voice-over continues. “They smartly spotted a phony. But not Joe Biden. He’s not that smart. Biden calls himself a transition candidate. He is handing over the reins to Kamala while they jointly embrace the radical left. Slow Joe and Phony Kamala, perfect together, wrong for America.”

While President Donald Trump may not believe in Kamala Harris’ ability to take on the Vice Presidential role, Joe Biden clearly does. The former Vice President sent a letter on Tuesday to his campaign supporters to announce Harris as his VP selection.

Biden’s statement reads: “You make a lot of important decisions as president. But the first one is who you select to be your Vice President. I’ve decided that Kamala Harris is the best person to help me take this fight to Donald Trump and Mike Pence and then to lead this nation starting in January 2021.”
