The truth is out there. President Donald Trump told reporters he’d investigate whether UFOs are real.

“Well I’m gonna have to check on that,” Trump said. “I mean, I’ve heard that. I heard that two days ago, so I’ll check on that. I’ll take a good, strong look at that.”

Recently, the Pentagon announced it was creating a task force to investigate potential unidentified flying objects. The task force is called the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. The Department of the Navy will provide oversight for the newly created division.

Donald Trump refused to comment on the Pentagon’s UFO task force

Trump refused to comment on the new task force, providing a general response on the strength of the military.

“But I will tell you this. We now have created a military the likes of which we have never had before, in terms of equipment, the equipment that we have, the weapons that we have,” Trump said.

The news comes after Pentagon released a series of declassified videos in April. The videos show the military’s interaction with unidentified flying objects in the skies.

There are many skeptics and believers of extraterrestrial life. Some believe little green men crash-landed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. So much so, the town has become a tourist destination for believers. Millions of people showed interest in the Storm Area 51 viral event in 2019. But only 150 people attended, hanging outside the entrance of the base. No one gained entrance, according to Vox.

Donald Trump Jr. is among alien enthusiasts. In a Father’s Day video, he asked the president if he would consider letting the public know if aliens actually exist. Trump refused to confirm or deny their existence.

“So many people ask me that question, it sounds like a cute question. There are millions and millions of people who want to go there [Area 51], who want to see it,” Trump said. “I won’t talk to you about what I know about it, but it’s very interesting.”
