Donald Trump’s COVID-19 Diagnosis Tweet Is His All-Time Most Shared

President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter again to share the news that he and his wife, Melania, have tested positive for COVID-19. The tweet has taken off and is now the President’s most shared tweet of all time.

Early this morning, at 12:54 a.m. EST the 45th President shared a tweet that read, “Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

The tweet already has 375,000 retweets, more than 460,000 quote tweets, and 1.5 million likes. Those numbers are still climbing at an astounding rate.

Of the 56,000 tweets President Donald Trump has made since joining Twitter in 2009, the one made this morning about their diagnosis has been his most liked and retweeted tweet yet.

President Trump’s previous most-liked tweet was on August 2, 2019. He announced that rapper A$AP Rocky was being released from prison and was on his way back to the US from Sweden.

However, the most popular tweet of all time is from Yusaku Maezawa, a Japanese billionaire. He promised to give 100 people money if they retweeted the post. As a result, the tweet got over 4 million rewteets and 1.2 million likes.

Furthermore, President Trump’s tweet would not even rank in the top 20 most retweeted or liked tweets of all time, as of right now.

In addition, many people from both political sides have commented their reactions on the Presidents tweet. Some of the comments wish for the Trump family to make a quick recovery, while some are mad about Trump’s constant reaction toward the virus.
