Willie Robertson is recycling one of his famous looks. The Duck Dynasty star took to Instagram on July 4 to show off an American flag bandana while cooking out.
The father of five shared a photo wishing his followers a “Happy 4th of July,” and to say that he “had to bring the bandana back out.” The picture shows Robertson rocking the bandana, sunglasses, and a bright red shirt while keeping an eye on the grill.
After posting the photo on social media, a number of fans commented on the familiar bandana. However, some said they preferred the A&E star with longer hair. “Bandana don’t look the same without the old hair,” one user wrote.”The bandana does nothing now that you have shorter hair,” another commented.
Last month, Robertson shared the shocking reveal of his new hairdo. In an Instagram post, Robertson mentions that he grew out his hair for 17 years before cutting it. He explained his motivation to cut his hair was to get out to the barbershop after quarantining for months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He also managed to capture his family members’ reactions to the new style. At the time, Willie’s wife, Korie Robertson, wrote on social media that it was the “first time [she] had seen his neck in 15 years.”
In the video, Willie dished on the major upside of chopping his hair off. “I cannot wait to go to the store, and no one knows who I am,” he said. “I’ll be so excited.”
As for Willie’s kids, they looked equally shocked in a video posted by Korie. One of the clips shows Willie’s 17-year-old daughter Bella walking right past her father without recognizing him. Another video shows Willie’s daughter Sadie, 23, rolling up beside her father in the parking lot. She and her husband Christian Huff look equally stunned.
