This year’s EOTY include: Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Eric Church, and Thomas Rhett. They will be performing a medley of their greatest hits.

Winners So Far

Prior to the show, a handful of winners have been announced by the outlet. The Music Event of the Year goes to the performance of “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” by Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes, Caylee Hammack, and Elle King.

Hillary Lindsey took home Songwriter of the Year while Rhett won for Music Video of the Year for “Remember You Young.”

The voting for this year’s award show closed over six months ago, which may impact the winners for this year. The voting period was from March 3-11 and was cast by industry professionals.

All About This Year’s Show

The 55th Annual ACMs will be a lot different in years past. The awards show was originally intended to take place in April in Las Vegas but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed and moved to Nashville for the first time. The show will not feature a live audience and instead be held at three separate venues around Nashville. The historic Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry, and Bluebird Cafe will all feature performances.

The theme was originally intended to be “country music’s party of the year” to “a night of heart and hits live from Nashville.”

Performances will be jam packed during the evening. Taylor Swift will give her debut performance of “Betty” while Keith Urban and Pink will debut their duet “One Too Many.” Other performers include Rhett alongside Jon Pardi, Trisha Yearwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Mickey Guyton, Tim McGraw, and Blake Shelton featuring Gwen Stefani.

Urban will be hosting the festivities that will air on CBS at 8 P.M. ET on Wednesday (September 16).
