Needless to say, there was a lot of drama on Monday’s episode of “9-1-1” and it almost cost one team a valued member.

So, we’re going to unpack what took place with a little help from TV Line.

Chimney, played by Kenneth Choi, went out of town looking for Maddie, played by Jennifer Love Hewitt.

But Buck, played by Oliver Stark, was focusing on his family. Ravi, played by Anirudh Pisharody, kept trying to get in Buck’s good graces but it never happened. He ends up having to hide under Bobby’s desk. Bobby is played by actor Peter Krause.

Buck had something to say, though, before dinner.

“I’ve really loved being a part of the 118 for these past five years,” he said. “This place and you guys mean so much to me, Which is why for the good of everyone, I’ve decided I’m going to put in for a transfer. I know it’s a lot of change, but I really think that Probie — Ravi — is ready to fill the spot.”

‘9-1-1’ Shows Buck Choosing To Take The Heat Over Chimey Leaving

Well, Buck decided to take the heat for Chimney leaving.

“Nothing is the same without him, and everything feels broken now, and it’s my fault,” he said. “I’m the reason he’s gone.” Those friendly on “9-1-1” explained that they all gave Chimney their blessing. Hen volunteered to go with him. His team members told Buck that Chimney is coming back with Maddie.

A middle-of-the-night phone call from Maddie jolted Buck and Taylor, played by Megan West, from their sleep — and she wasn’t happy.

“Why is Chimney in Utah?” Taylor asked. She promised Buck that she’s safe, but insisted, “I’m not ready. Not yet.” Buck heard some familiar chimes in the background. He said, “I think I know where she is!”

Athena Grant-Nash Pressured Harry To Talk About His Kidnapping

Meanwhile, Athena, played by Angela Bassett, pressured Harry, played by Marcanthonee Reis, to speak up about his kidnapping. What did he say? “I only went through anything because of you two,” he told Michael and Athena.

Also, Claudette Collins, played by Vanessa Estelle Williams, is still a pest in May’s side at the call center. May is played by Corinne Massiah.

Claudette takes over May’s calls without any thought of it.

So, May uses her own experience when talking with a suicidal caller. Claudette almost snapped again but realized May and her approach did save a girl’s life.

“9-1-1” continues to be a solid show for Fox on Monday nights. It also has a spin-off called “9-1-1: Lone Star” that runs on Fox, too. Outsiders, make sure to schedule an appointment to watch “9-1-1” next Monday night.
