Aaron Rodgers has been the subject of much controversy in NFL circles as of late, but tonight he will find himself in a familiar place — Jeopardy!

While he technically isn’t returning as Jeopardy! guest host tonight, he will be playing one on television. Tonight’s episode of “The Conners” features a character attempting to win big bucks on the popular game show.

Aaron Rodgers will be playing the host of Jeopardy for the episode. Rodgers, 37, is the star quarterback for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers and is the league’s reigning Most Valuable Player. He is coming off a recent stint as Jeopardy! guest host and he did quite well during his two-week hosting stint.

In a Wednesday afternoon social media post, the Jeopardy! Instagram account provides viewing details on the latest episode of ‘The Connors.’

“If you watch The Conners, you know that Jeopardy! Jackie is ready to play!” the Instagram post proclaims. “Watch her tonight at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on ABC!”

The Instagram post features a short clip of Jackie playing Jeopardy! and it appears she has already accumulated $1,600. She also appears to be buzzing in once more with a hopefully correct answer to the clue given by Aaron Rodgers.

Jeopardy! Fans Give Aaron Rodgers High Marks

Rodgers began his Jeopardy! hosting tenure on Monday, April 5, and completed his term on Friday, April 16. He’s made it no secret he wants consideration for the full-time permanent Jeopardy! hosting gig.

Aaron Rodgers scored a highly respectable 5.6 on the Nielsen rating scale, making his run the third-highest among guest hosts. Only former contestant Ken Jennings (6.0) and executive producer Mike Richards (5.9) have higher scores to date.

Finishing below Rodgers were journalists Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper, along with talk show host, Dr. Mehmet Oz. Journalist Bill Whitaker is currently handling guest host duties with former contestant Buzzy Cohen on deck. Cohen will step behind the Jeopardy! podium beginning this Monday for the show’s annual Tournament of Champions.

Despite it being the league’s offseason, Aaron Rodgers has dominated NFL headlines as of late. He is reportedly unhappy with his current situation in Green Bay and allegedly asked the team to trade him. Green Bay Packers officials have said their preference is to keep Rodgers in a Packer uniform for the foreseeable future. The team has reportedly told other NFL franchises that they will not trade Rodgers.

Rodgers’ situation with the Green Bay Packers continues to be one worth monitoring and likely is not going away any time soon.
