Courtesy of a stunning misty moon shot, followers of Alaskan Bush People‘s Bear Brown say the son is receiving a message from his late father, Billy Brown.

The Brown family is still grappling with the sudden loss of their patriarch, Billy Brown. The loss has hit Bear Brown particularly hard. The two were incredibly close, and Bear often shares his feelings with followers on Instagram. Today, however, he’s letting his imagery speak for itself.

Within his post, a near-full moon shines with incredible intensity through thick Alaskan bush clouds. The sight, snapped by Brown from beneath rolling mountains, is one to behold.

Bear offers the photo up with no caption, allowing the beautiful sight to stand on its own. As such, fans and followers of Bear’s private Instagram account are interpreting the sight as they see it. And for most, it is clearly a message from his late, beloved father, Billy Brown.

One of Bear’s top comments, courtesy of caring follower katmomma.laura, touches on this perfectly:

“I can imagine your dad sitting up there in Heaven watching over his family making sure each one is safe & accounted for,” she comments. “He has the best view now of your mountain property. Listen to the whispers of your heart, for it will be your dad guiding you through life.”

Following the touching comment, Mary B. adds this is “Your da looking over his family and his ADORABLE Ami. RIP MR.BROWN🙏.”

“Your Dad is looking down from above so proud of all of you. Keep your head up. Live life to the Extreme,” another follower offers the Alaskan Bush star.

Bear to Offer Memorial Testimony for Billy in ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Special

This Sunday at 8 p.m. ET (Feb. 28, 2021), Discovery is paying tribute to the Alaskan Bush People patriarch with The Legacy of Billy Brown, a special filled with never-before-seen clips of Brown, alongside testimonies from his children following his passing.

“I will greatly miss the time we had,” Bear says in the preview of the special. It was Bear himself who announced the death of his father to the public on February 7 following Billy’s fatal seizure. His father was 68-years-old.

“We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure,” Bear told followers and fans on his private Instagram account. “He was our best friend — a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed.” Alongside the message, Bear included a beautiful photo of his father Billy with mother Ami Brown.

He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well,” Bear continued. “We plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream. We ask for privacy and prayers during this painful time. God Bless Everyone!”
