The son of ‘Alaskan Bush People’ late patriarch, Billy Brown, is sharing a first glimpse at a beautiful cross he’s possessed in memory of his father Friday, and it’s as moving as they come.

“My Dad My Hero My Angel,” the engraving reads. It’s a touching tribute from Bear for his late father, Billy Brown. As fans know, the ‘Alaskan Bush People’ family was – and remains – incredibly tight-knit.

Billy served as the heart of it all, and his children continue to honor his legacy every day. For the first time in recent memory, we’re able to embed Bear Brown’s post for you below. See the loving tribute for yourself below:

The ‘Alaskan Bush People’ star offers up the cross as a standalone tribute to his father on Instagram Friday. No caption is included, as none is necessary. It’s the latest in a long line of in-memoriam posts from the son, who continues to struggle with his father’s loss daily.

Thankfully, however, his fans and followers on social media have been thoughtful and kind throughout. With their daily offerings of support and praise, Bear seems to be in much higher spirits of late.

To this end, the young star recently hosted a Q&A session for his followers to rousing results.

‘Alaskan Bush People’s Legacy Lives On through Bear Brown

“Ask me a question!!!” Bear Brown posted to the platform Tuesday. Within, he stuck around for several hours answering followers’ replies. One of the top questions came from follower sharp589, who asked:

“Hi! Have you ever thought about having your own show? And if yes, what would it be like? Maybe you and Matt ’cause he is so funny!”

It’s a common question for fans of ‘Alaskan Bush People’s breakout star. And as it turns out, Bear himself says this isn’t the first time the topic has come up:

“I’ve been asked that before!” Bear replies. “It’d be cool to explore all the extreme and cool places in the world!”

Outsider would argue that Bear is, without a doubt, the second-most popular star of the hit Discovery show – only behind his late father, Billy Brown. Chances are, however, that Bear will continue to lead ‘Alaskan Bush People’ alongside his siblings. With their patriarch gone, Discovery needs big personalities like Bear’s for the show now more than ever.

While he can be a bit “extreme” at times, Bear is a strong ambassador for the show. Even when answering thorny questions from followers during the same Q&A, the ‘Alaskan Bush people’ star replies with a level-head. And despite all the flack the show gets, Bear remains a positive voice and kind soul for viewers of the show.
