Spring is officially in bloom, casting off the shades of winter. “Alaskan Bush People” star Bear Brown is celebrating the start of warm weather with a selfie in the great outdoors.

Brown maintains an active presence on social media, specifically Instagram. He uses the platform to share with fans various snapshots of his life. Unfortunately, many of those snapshots have been sad in recent months. Brown has struggled with his grief and mourned the death of his father, the late Billy Brown. Billy passed away back in February, shocking both the Brown family and fans of “Alaskan Bush People” across the world.

In this candid photo, Bear Brown is enjoying the outdoors. It’s a love and appreciation that Billy passed down to his son and the rest of his family. The Brown clan loves the mountains and forests that they call their home, finding solace in the quiet of nature.

‘Alaskan Bush People’ Will Return

While Bear Brown’s Instagram posts keep fans updated on his life, they are already looking forward to the next season of the show. The reality star promised fans that the show will be returning for another season. But it remains to be seen when the show will return or what form it will take.

With Billy Brown gone, the Brown clan is without their patriarch and the show without its leading man. The future season promises to show the Browns grappling with both their grief and also Billy’s legacy. They want to continue forward with the dream that he had for them.

Over the past few months, Bear Brown has stepped up and tried to help both his family and even fans through their collective sadness. Until the new season starts, he has also been enjoying life and the quieter moments outdoors. Nature was something he shared with his dad, specifically hunting.

“One of my favorite things to do with Dad when we’d go out and we’d hunt together was just sitting there in a blind and waiting or stalking through the woods,” Bear Brown said of his late father. “I will always remember that about my dad and I will greatly miss the times we had and the times we won’t have again. But it will always be in my heart and I will always cherish those memories.”

Those are the memories that he cherishes most now.
