The former “Alaskan Bush People” star is getting back in touch with his roots.

“It’s a beautiful morning going home to the wild. god and Jesus bless us all :),” Matt Brown writes in a recent Instagram post. His Easter-appropriate caption goes along with a video showing a gorgeous sunrise as he drives back home to Washington.

“Hey friends. Matt Brown here, saying never give up, never surrender,” the former “Alaskan Bush People” star says in the video. “I’m on my way home to Washington now, about, oh, five hours out. It feels good. I’ve been in the city for a really long time and I just kind of need to reconnect with the wild. And, uh, yeah I wanted to share it with you. It’s a really beautiful morning, and, uh, yeah, a very nice day.”

Outsiders can relate to the message. Life takes its toll on all of us. And sometimes all we really need is some time away from the stresses we face on a daily basis.

Fans of ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Are Excited to See Him Going Home

Fans are encouraged to see the former “Alaskan Bush People” star heading up to Washington to see his family.

“Hey Matt I can see the excitement in your face that you are going to see your family. Stay safe 😍 ,” writes top commenter abby_rae_1984.

“Good morning Matt and good afternoon from Germany! I’m happy for you that you’re going home! I wish you all the best! I wish you and your family a blessed Easter of God’s blessing for all of you, with very loving greetings 🌹🤗 🙏❤️,” added commenter kunzrosemarie.

Brown has been open about his struggles with substance abuse since he stepped away from “Alaskan Bush People.” He just recently celebrated one year of sobriety in the wake of his father’s death. Billy Brown, the former patriarch of the Brown family, passed away suddenly in early February.

It is clearly a difficult time for the entire Brown family, and even though Matt has had his share of problems, fans are happy to see him reunite with his roots.
