Bear Brown Speaks Out After Father’s Death

The wilderness-themed show followed the life and experiences of Billy and Ami Brown. Alaskan Bush People also follows their children, Matt, Bam Bam, Bear, Gabe, Noah, Bird, and Rain.

Bear Brown was the first and has arguably been the most vocal in the wake of his father’s passing. The 33-year-old often takes to his Instagram page to cope and grieve alongside fans of the show. In Bear’s first post following Billy Brown’s seizure, he said that his dad was his “best friend.”

“He was our best friend – a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed,” Bear wrote on Instagram. “He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well.”

Since that first post, Bear has posted several other updates and photos to his page. Meanwhile, his siblings have also spoken out recently about their father as well.
