Watch as the “Alaskan Bush People” star shows off his new house, just weeks after living in a shed-like cabin, with contagious enthusiasm.

“Hey friends, what a beautiful day!” Matt begins in his latest upload. It is a genuinely gorgeous day wherever the former “Alaskan Bush People” star is. After showing Instagram followers the orchards surrounding him and the great blue sky, we get to the most incredible bit of Brown’s update.

Matt Brown has a new house! He’s been shacking up in a literal shack ever since he left California. But no longer!

“I’ve even got TV! Look, ‘Star Trek’ is on!” he lauds with the biggest of smiles. Matt takes great pride in his amenities – things we all take for granted when times are good, or even just okay – and that he’s lived without for a long while.

“Life really sucked for me,” he divulges. “No matter if I was on top or on bottom, wherever I was, it just wasn’t good. ‘Cause I was harboring lies. Keeping secrets to my own detriment that had nothing to do with me, and they were totally wrong, anyway,” Brown continues, echoing recent sentiments about his “Alaskan Bush People” past and the rest of the Brown family.

Now, however, as his living situation and mental health have greatly improved (of his own words), Matt Brown credits it all to “truth.”

“I’ve finally… Given up to the truth! Surrendered. That’s what I’ve done,” he continues. “I’ve surrendered to the truth, and to Jesus. And he’s protected me! And given me such wonderful things.”

Wonderful things, indeed, Matt. Despite the drama currently swirling around his “Alaskan Bush People” family, Brown does indeed seem genuinely happy.

“Starting at the bottom – moving onnnn up!” he grins.

After giving a short tour with incredible joy, Brown flops himself onto his big new bed – another new amenity for the 36-year-old. There, he slows down to offer a bit of hope for those who have been to the very bottom like himself.

“I hope you’re all having a very good day,” Matt offers his followers. “I’m out here… I’m just like you. A regular guy, taking it one step at a time. Life can be hard. And sometimes, well I guess sometimes all that’s necessary is to surrender to what is good. And what is right.”

“Love y’all. God & Jesus bless us all,” he concludes before panning out. Watch the full video for yourself for plenty more from the “Alaskan Bush People” alum. Even if Matt Brown isn’t necessarily your brand of mojo – it’s guaranteed to make you smile.
