Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown gives fans an update on his life, including his living arrangements in a new social media video.

Matt Brown is the oldest child of Billy and Ami Brown. After his father, unfortunately, died from a seizure in their home, Billy left behind seven children. They include Matt, 36, Bam Bam, 34, Bear, 31, Gabe, 29, Noah, 26, Bird, 24, and Rain, 16.

Matt Brown Battles

In mid-April, Matt Brown uploaded a 9-minute video to his channel with the caption “the truth.” In it, Matt highlights the lies he was forced to tell on Alaskan Bush People. Due to the constant deception, it forced him to turn to drugs and alcohol, which became an issue in his life.

He notes that the Brown family has had modern conveniences for decades, but the show asked them to act otherwise for entertainment value.

Matt Brown left the show for fewer pastures. He fled to the city but admitted in March that although he had been sober for a year, he was nearly homeless, hungry, and almost broke

The former Alaskan Bush People star also claims in his video that Billy kept the $360,000 Matt earned through the show.

Warm Wishes and Positive Updates

It seems Matt’s luck has changed, and he is in a healthy and positive mindset in his most recent Instagram video from yesterday. He “checks in” to touch on his living situations and the work he is doing. Matt Brown also gives a shoutout to his nearly 171,000 fans, sending them well wishes.

“Hi! Here I am on the orchard. I went up today to my camps because I have two- the basecamp by my friend and then the cabin, and my good friend here, an old cowboy, gave me a ride up so I can get all my stuff. I got drug back to the cabin here. Things are good. The gentlemen I’m working over here is mowing so that I can get in and water all this acreage. Isn’t that beautiful? I don’t know how much you can see. I’m just having a really good day, and I wanted to reach out and say, ‘Hey!’ Check in with you guys, my friends out there, and make sure that you’re doing well too. I hope you are! Alright, have a nice day.”

Matt Brown has continued to keep his fans updated on his life and sobriety through video updates and social media posts. However, unfortunately, his family has shunned him for calling out the late family patriarch, Billy Brown, and the show.
