Frank Fritz hasn’t filmed an episode of American Pickers since last year, but you wouldn’t know that if you just looked at the show’s merchandise this week. The show was still selling t-shirts and branded items featuring him and estranged co-star Mike Wolfe. And some fans have a bone to pick with the show over this decision.

Earlier this week, American Pickers tweeted about the show’s merchandise for the Halloween season. Along with the many items for sale featuring the show’s logo were items such as shirts and blankets that featured Wolfe and Fritz standing together, the Sun reported.

Fans still upset over Fritz’s firing earlier this year felt the decision to continue selling items with his image was in bad taste.

“I think it’s time to boycott American Pickers. It really bothers me they kicked Frank to the curb. With friends like that who needs enemies,” one person responded to the tweet.

“I think you should leave Frank alone!! Trying to make money on him after you fired him!!!,” another person replied.

Though, it appears the show pulled all of the items that included any of the hosts — past or present — from its website as of Friday.

The American Pickers stars had a falling out. Fritz said he and Wolfe hadn’t spoken in years. He said he left the show temporarily because of a back injury, but producers fired him during this hiatus. Wolfe announced he’d be riding solo in an Instagram post.

American Pickers didn’t say why they fired Fritz, but it was later revealed that he was battling an alcohol addiction. Co-stars have hinted this caused problems behind the scenes of the popular History Channel show. Fritz has since gone to rehab, lost a lot of weight, and says he’s been sober for 11 months.

Ex-‘American Pickers’ Host Details His Healthier New Lifestyle

It’s only been a year, but Frank Fritz looks much different than he did when he starred on American Pickers. He said he’s lost 60 pounds and is focusing on staying fit and healthy.

His trouble with his back and struggles with Crohn’s disease drove him to want to change his life. But it was his time in rehab that he said inspired him to finally do that.

“They gave me a lot of information and we were booked up for 13 or 14 hours a day,” he told The Sun recently. “There was no sitting around watching TV or eating food. You were scheduled out for an hour, then an hour and a half, all through the day.

“They really give you a lot of one-on-one time. I read 12 self-help books while I was there. I didn’t f**k around, I really got into it. (And) I went there to learn and get the most out of it that I possibly could.

“I had a great time there and I helped other people who were having problems too. It’s one of the best things that have happened to me.”
