If you’ve hand-picked the History Channel’s “American Pickers” as one of your top shows, it’s best to know when each episode is on. Otherwise, you’ll risk missing out on some of the greatest finds.
Or, as they explain in the introduction, “[W]e’re pickers. We travel the back roads of America looking to buy rusty gold. We’re looking for amazing things buried in people’s garages and barns. What most people see as junk, we see as dollar signs. We’ll buy anything we think we can make a buck on. Each item we pick has a history all its own. And the people we meet? Well, they’re a breed all their own.”
Watching ‘American Pickers’
So, when are the “American Pickers” premiering their next round of amazing finds?
The show recently entered its 22nd season and has been on TV since 2010. In the process, it has become one of the most-watched reality TV programs. You can tune in to the show every Monday at 9/8 p.m. CT.
“American Pickers” calls the History Channel home. You can also tune in on the History app or the website as well, but you’ll need to log in with your TV provider. The first four seasons are available to watch on Hulu if you’re new to the show.
If you’re wanting a more immersive experience, you can go check out the “American Pickers” store called Antique Archaeology. The original store is located in LeClaire, Iowa, and has been around since 2000. The second store is located in Nashville, Tennessee, and opened up in 2011.
According to The Sun, each of these locations are half-shop and half-museum. True to the “American Pickers” way, the spaces are filled with amazing antiques and collectibles. Many of these items are hand-picked by Wolfe as he travels over 70,000 miles all around the U.S. every year on the search for amazing finds.
So, if you’re in the area, or are due for a road trip, “American Pickers” can be experienced separate from the faces and drama on the screen.
Frank Fritz Exits Reality Show
Frank Fritz was the co-host of “American Pickers” since it first aired. He was last seen on the show in March 2020 but took a break from appearing after citing struggles with Crohn’s disease and back surgery. He also revealed that he was going to rehab to help with alcohol abuse.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Fritz and Wolfe are not on speaking terms after Wolfe allegedly started to replace him on the show.
Both Wolfe and Danielle Colby have responded to the loss of Fritz on “American Pickers.” Colby wrote on Instagram, “Frank caused so much pain for himself that it has been hard to watch,” she continued. “I truly hope Frank receives all the help he needs to become well after years of being unwell. It is not my place to speak Ill of someone who needs help so I will keep my comments uplifting.”
It’s been confirmed that Frank Fritz will not return for any of this season.
