American Pickers star Mike Wolfe is dating Leticia Cline, who often posts words of wisdom on her social media platforms. Today, she discussed her “real secret” to life, which we think would definitely earn Matthew McConaughey’s approval.

Leticia Cline’s latest Instagram post reflects on where she is now compared to where she thought she would be when she was younger. “In high school we had to write a paper on where we would be in 5, 10, and 20 years. To be honest, I don’t even remember what I wrote. I always thought it was a crazy idea to plan your life so young. Though my heart has consistently stayed the same loving, giving, and child-like curious self, my mind has been a sponge for everything that surrounds me…and what surrounds me is forever changing.”

However, what makes this post interesting is what Cline says next regarding her “real secret” to life. “The real secret to a fulfilling life is to be adaptable. Perhaps that’s the only thing I know for sure, that the only thing consistent in life is inconsistency. So if you asked me now what I would be doing in 20 years my answer would be “’just living.'”

Wherever Matthew McConaughey is right now, I’m sure he’s nodding his head in agreement. For reference, “just keep livin” is the actor’s mantra and something he swears by. In fact, he and his wife made a foundation named after that very phrase. The Just Keep Livin foundation implements school fitness programs and serves more than 3,000 students in California, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington D.C.

Alright, alright, alright.

Matthew McConaughey Says ‘Politics Needs Redefinition’ and May Run for Office

Matthew McConaughey possesses a lot of charisma and is often involved with social issues. Previously discussing the possibility, he has revisited the idea of running for office, saying “politics needs redefinition.

Speaking on the Set it Straight: Myths and Legends podcast, McConaughey pondered about future political possibilities. “Look, it’s going to be in some capacity. I’m more of a folk-singing, philosopher, poet-statesman than I am per se definitive politician, so I go, ‘Well that’s a reason not to,’ and then I go, ‘No, that’s exactly why you should because politics needs redefinition.”

Nonetheless, as he’s said before, McConaughey is a storyteller, and being in politics may stifle him creatively. “I have to remain a storyteller. I’ve been given that gift. I love doing it. I have to remain an artist.” Saying “it would be up to the people more than it would me,” McConaughey affirms if given the position, he would remain committed and do his best.
