American Pickers star Danielle Colby manages to keep herself very busy on and off the set. However, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t take the time to relax and kick back. In fact, her latest photo is proof of that, with her celebrating being back home by going to the beach.
Taking to Instagram, Colby rejoices to be back home with a pic on the beach. With an almost completely clear sky on the horizon and sunny weather, how could anyone there not enjoy themselves?
“And just like that, I’m back home!” Colby gleefully captions the post. “So happy to be back home, soaking up the sun. I can’t wait to start working on more underwater content for you all on Patreon!”
As of late, Danielle Colby spends much of her time in Puerto Rico. There, she helps aid the island and help orphanages, animal shelters, and raise awareness regarding human trafficking. Nevertheless, she is an Iowa native, so she’s presumably on a beach there. Considering her fiancé is an underwater photographer and she mentions underwater photos, it’s likely him standing next to her in the pic.
I don’t think anyone can blame her for being excited. A seemingly empty beach, great weather, and your significant other sound like something worth celebrating to me.
Would Danielle Colby Ever do an ‘American Pickers’ Spinoff?
With Danielle Colby’s popularity, success, and experience with picking, it’s not too farfetched to think she might do a spinoff, right? According to her, she doesn’t know if it would happen, but she seems fond of the idea.
While down in Flordia for a meet-and-greet with show fans, Colby spoke to the Miami New Times about a handful of topics. After the outlet mentioned her popularity, they asked her if a spinoff had ever been discussed. “I don’t know,” she responded. “One never knows what will happen in the future. I highly doubt that Antique Archaeology is the last job I’ll ever have in my life, though it is definitely the coolest job I’ve had to date. It all depends on when my time there has run its course.”
Providing further details, Colby says she’s currently under contract and has to abide by that. Additionally, she respects her obligation to Mike Wolfe. “I have an obligation to Mike who put me in the position I’m in right now, and I’ll respect that ’til the end. My plan is just to stick around and see what happens. But I have a contract, and I’ll of course honor that contract.”
A spinoff is an interesting idea, especially considering she has her own shop. Could we see her picking on her own show in the near future?
