‘American Pickers’ Star Danielle Colby Introduces Fans to Cat ‘Minnie’ in Sweet Pic

When she’s not helping Mike on “American Pickers” or gardening, Danielle Colby is likely caring for animals. Recently introducing a feline companion on Instagram, “Minnie the Moocher” seems to be a new addition to the crew.

Showing off the cute cat late last night, Colby showed Minnie off to her followers.

“Folks, here’s a story ’bout Minnie the Moocher
She was a red hot hoochie-coocher
She was the roughest, toughest frail
But Minnie had a heart as big as a whale
– Cab Calloway

She just sort of hangs around, so we care for her. Meet Minnie!”

It appears Minnie isn’t anyone’s cat, but a frequent visitor and fan of the show. Judging by the picture, Colby may have recently bathed Minnie. With that kind of care and consideration waiting for her, it’s no wonder she carries the moniker of “moocher.”

Here’s hoping Minnie will make her television debut on “American Pickers” soon.

Danielle Colby and Mike Wolfe on Frank Fritz Coming Back

Though Colby seems fond of Minnie hanging around, her thoughts on Frank Fritz differ. His leaving “American Pickers” caused quite a stir with fans and after remaining relatively quiet on the matter, Colby recently weighed in on the issue.

“I’m truly saddened for the loss of Frank on the show. I’m incredibly sad for his struggles. I’ve personally watched everything over the last decade. I have many thoughts but won’t speak them as they are only my thoughts, not gospel. I wish things could have been different but we must be accountable for our actions when we cause instability or pain and suffering to others,” she wrote on Instagram.

She then wished him well and a full recovery.

“Frank caused so much pain for himself that it has been hard to watch. I truly hope Frank receives all the help he needs to become well after years of being unwell. It is not my place to speak Ill of someone who needs help so I will keep my comments uplifting.”

Despite Frank apparently causing drama, Mike Wolfe recently expressed wanting Fritz back in an interview with The Sun, but it being difficult to do so.

“We all do care about Frank and we want him back on the show. I would love to talk with him again, we would absolutely love to, but he just can’t get it right. It’s unfortunate that he’s made decisions that have him the way he is.”

Fritz battled alcohol addiction, as well as severe back problems. While mentioning a desire to return to the show, Fritz also noted the possibility of having his own show.

“I could go either way and find a new show, have something new, and have just as much fun. That’s what it’s all about, being satisfied with yourself and having a little bit of fun.”
