‘American Pickers’: What Was Frank Fritz Last Episode on the Show?

The picking continues, but it is doing so without one of its long-time stars. According to reports, original cast member Frank Fritz has not returned to the reality television series “American Pickers.”

His exit was a surprising one, which has left fans wondering what happened. His unannounced exit took place during the middle of the show’s 21st season.

So, what was Fritz’s final episode on The History Channel show? Looper is reporting that his final appearance in the series aired during March 2020. It was titled “Burlesque Queen” and was episode number 307 in the history of the show. This episode was part of the show’s 21st season.

The “Burlesque Queen” episode of “American Pickers” followed Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe as they visited a marina in Kansas City. There, they did what they do best – search for unique antiques. Interestingly, the episode did not include any information that Fritz would no longer appear in the popular show.

As to why Fritz exited the show, neither he, other cast members, nor officials with the show have publically commented on the matter. Unsurprisingly, though, there has been plenty of speculation. For example, Wolfe reportedly said that Fritz had back surgery during an episode of “American Pickers” that aired after the “Burlesque Queen” episode.

There is also speculation that Frank Fritz did not film the show during COVID-19 due to concerns that his Crohn’s disease could put him in danger. Some people have speculated that he could return to “American Pickdes” once the global pandemic comes to an end. That, however, remains to be seen.

Mike Wolfe Brother Replaced Frank Fritz in Recent Episode of ‘American Pickers’

Earlier in July, “American Pickers” aired its first episode since Frank Fritz left the show. The episode was titled, “Paradise Picking” and featured Mike Wolfe looking for rare finds. However, this time Mike was joined by his brother, Robbie. This was not Robbie’s first time on the show. Over the years, he has been in at least 70 episodes of the reality television series.

Fritz has come out and said that he felt that Mike wanted to replace him on the show with his brother, Robbie.

“I think Mike wants to get his brother Robbie in there to replace me,” Fritz reportedly said. “I don’t know why he’s behaving like that towards me. You couldn’t just stick two people in a van and get the chemistry you get from me and Mike. We’ve known each other for about 40 years. We can finish each other’s sentences.”

Whether he returns to “American Pickers” or not, Frank Fritz is still a pretty wealthy man. His net worth is estimated to be approximately $6 million. Before he began his tenure in the series in 2010, Fritz worked as a fire inspector. After selling an item that he paid $15 for $475, Fritz realized there was a future in such a business. He later opened his shop, Frank Fritz Finds. This helped him and Wolfe land the “American Pickers” series.
