Arnold Schwarzenegger Celebrates Son’s Birthday with Adorable Throwback Pic

On Monday (September 27th), Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger took to his social media accounts to wish his son, Christopher a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday Christopher! I love you and I’m proud of you every day!” Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote in the post, featuring adorable snapshots of him and his son. “You’re so smart, and you have such a big heart. Between your boxing classes, your weightlifting classes, your stretching classes, your cycling classes, and on and on, I can’t even keep up with you! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger recently wished his other son, Patrick, a happy birthday as well. He wrote on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, “Happy birthday @patrickschwarzenegger! I love you, I’m proud of you, and watching you grow every day in every way is one of my greatest joys. Your business is booming, your acting career is taking off, but most importantly, you never forget to reach out and help others.”

Christopher is the third child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. The couple has two other children, Katharine and Patrick. They married in April 1986 but divorced in May 2011. It was revealed that Arnold had fathered a son more than 14 years earlier with a household employee, Mildred Patricia Baena. Schwarzenegger and Baena’s son is Joseph.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Admits His Children Weren’t a Fan of His Political Career

In June 2021, Arnold Schwarzenegger sat down with his daughter Katharine to open up about his role as a father. This included the impact that his acting career and his time as California’s governor.

“I think it is very important to let everyone know how much you kids hated my job [as the governor of California],” Arnold Schwarzenegger stated. He then stated that the job was one of those “kind of odd things” where he thought his kids would be so proud of him taking on a political role. “But I don’t think that you guys really kind of connected with that.”

Schwarzenegger obsessed that Katharine and her brothers were more used to being on a movie set anyway.

Along with his chat with Katharine, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently spoke to The New York Times about his current political beliefs. “I operate with a European mind, and I also operate with an American mind,” the former California governor declared. He then said that’s why no one can really figure him out. Because it has nothing to do with Republican versus Democrat.

Schwarzenegger shared, “ I never paid attention to any of this political stuff, period. Because I think that both are full of crap.”

Schwarzenegger was the Republican Governor of California from November 2003 until January 2011.
