Actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently joined social media network LinkedIn and honored the construction world with a nod to bricklaying.

He made his announcement in a Tweet on Thursday.

The 74-year-old posted his past work experience under his profile, starting with his first job. He worked at Los Angeles company European Bricklayers on the site. He said he worked there for four years as a bricklayer from 1968 to 1972.

After that job, the actor earned a college at the University of Wisconsin-Superior in business administration and marketing.

Schwarzenegger also identified himself as the president of Santa Monica, Calif.-based Oak Productions, and he’s had that job for more than 44 years. The company lists itself with a small number of employees, and it has no website.

He might have left out a few jobs over the years, including movie producer, businessman, and investor.

Schwarzenegger No Stranger To Hard Work

He’s written books while working as a philanthropist and activist as well. Don’t forget, he started as a former professional bodybuilder. He’s been a Red Cross ambassador and President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports chairman during the 1990s.

He served as governor of California from 2003 to 2011.

Now, he’s reportedly worth $400 million, so you kind of wonder why need needs to get on LinkedIn unless he’s got some free time on his hands.

On another note, there are 23 Arnold Schwarzenegger on LinkedIn.

Arnold fans rejoiced with some firing quotes from his movies back at him.

One fan told the actor to “add “terminating” as a skill, and I’ll endorse you.”

Another fan, Donny Macgill, posted a photo of Schwarzenegger in the 1990 film “Total Recall,” where he’s jackhammering on a work site. Macgill captions the image, “Arnie going back to the old school!”

A fun-loving Twitter user added, “Sorry, can’t hire someone that forgets to add the attachments before sending an important message.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger Drives Around Town In Hummer

The Daily Mail caught the former governor driving around Santa Monica in his military-grade Humvee on Thursday.

Schwarzenegger chomped a cigar as he has in past movie roles, too. Reportedly, Schwarzenegger first became interested in the vehicle when he spotted one in 1990 while filming his comedy “Kindergarten Cop.”

Since then, he’s acquired a fleet of the sports utility vehicles and converted them to run on clean fuel technologies. When he ran for governor, he told the media his plans to change one Humvee to a hydrogen-powered vehicle in a $21,000 conversion.

With Thursday’s vehicle, the newspaper reported that Schwarzenegger covered that one to running on vegetable oil at one point.

Schwarzenegger has been critical of world leaders who traveled to a recent United Nations climate change summit, saying that he’s seen nothing getting done there.
