It’s all good, man. “Better Call Saul” star Bob Odenkirk has a new lease on life following his recent hospitalization and health scare. And what better way to embrace living than taking a walk with a friend and also watching the “Field of Dreams” game.

In late June, Odenkirk collapsed while filming his hit TV drama’s final season. The cast and crew quickly sprang into action, calling emergency authorities. The actor apparently had a heart attack. But he’s currently on the mend.

Odenkirk recently went for a walk with his co-star Michael Mando. Like many, he’s also enjoying the “Field of Dreams” game as well. Major League Baseball went to rural Iowa for a game that many would say came straight out of a movie. It even got John Dutton himself, Kevin Costner, to make an appearance.

On Twitter, Odenkirk wrote: “Just had a walk with my pal Michael Mando. I keep getting good energy, hugs, love, from everyone, strangers, old friends…and then there’s the field of dreams game. I can’t take all this goodness at once, but I guess I’ll have to. Hope you are having a great day today.”

Many fans worried about Bob Odenkirk after his recent health scare. The actor is beloved in both the drama and comedy space for his films. He recently starred in the action vehicle “Nobody” as well. In the aftermath, Odenkirk’s close friend and creative collaborator David Cross kept fans up to date. He said that Odenkirk was recovering from his ordeal. He also promised that Odenkirk would address the incident himself.

Since then, Odenkirk has kept fans up to date as he recovers from the heart attack. What’s apparent is that he hasn’t lost his sense of humor.

“I am doing great. I’ve had my very own ‘It’s a wonderful life’ week of people insisting I make the world slightly better. Wow! Thank you, I love everyone right now but let’s keep expectations reasonable!” Bob Odenkirk joked.

He’s also been very thankful for all of the support that he’s gotten.

“Hi. It’s Bob. Thank you,” Odenkirk said. “To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me. It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much.”

According to Odenkirk, he experienced a small heart attack. He said that doctors managed to fix the blockage without major surgery. Additionally, he’s on the mend and looks forward to getting back to playing Saul Goodman when he can.

“Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level,” Bob Odenkirk added. “I’m going to take a beat to recover but I’ll be back soon.”
