Bindi Sue and Grace Warrior Irwin have our Outsider hearts, and the mum’s latest photo of her tiny Wildlife Warrior shows exactly why.
“Having a chat,” captions the daughter of Steve Irwin to her official Instagram Tuesday. As one follower notes, the adorable photo “looks like a fairy tale setting!”
It doesn’t get more precious than this:
“Looks like a very serious conversation,” a Bindi Irwin follower replies on Instagram.
“Aww… I wonder what they talk about,” another echoes. There’s plenty of heart emojis to go around in the comments, too. Indeed, it’s hard not to love this family, as their contributions to wildlife conservation are immeasurable.
In fact, this is exactly how Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, spend their days. Chandler’s surfing visit to Australia once upon a time would see the couple fall in love, and the rest is history. And a baby, of course.
Indeed, few families will put a smile on an Outsider’s face like the Irwins. One of the best examples of this comes from Chandler and the “twinning” selfie of Bindi and Grace Warrior below.
Chandler Powell Celebrates His ‘Girls’ with Adorable Selfie of Bindi and Grace Irwin
“My girls sent me this photo while I was in a Zoo meeting,” Powell posted to Instagram in early October. “It absolutely made my day and I hope it makes yours too. These two always put a smile on my face.”
“It’s a vibe! We love you so much,” replies Bindi Irwin herself. How cute are these tree?
In the selfie, Bindi and Grace Warrior ham it up for an adorable mirror selfie. The shot looks to be taken at the family’s Australia Zoo. Within, the Irwin lasses both rock their sunglasses and stick out their tongues.
For anyone who loves this family like we Outsiders do, it is another priceless example of that trademark Irwin joy. And it wouldn’t exist without one of the most legendary humans ever to walk, swim, climb, and crawl this planet: Steve Irwin.
It’s hard to believe, but this global icon and personal hero to many (including this Outsider), has been gone for 15 years now. Yet Steve would be beyond proud of his wife Terri’s continued stewardship of the Australian Zoo alongside their two children, Bindi and Robert Irwin. Robert is the spitting image of his father, and both siblings carry Steve’s luminous spirit wherever they go.
Bindi and Chandler are making sure their tiny daughter inherits it, as well.
“This sweetheart has been watching her ‘Grandpa Crocodile’ on the projector at our camp here on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve,” Bindi posted to Instagram on September 4 with another adorable photo of Grace. The little Wildlife Warrior sports Australia Zoo’s signature khakis within; a look the Irwins made instantly iconic alongside their trademark kindness and conservation.
“She lights up when she sees him on screen,” Bindi continued of Grace. “I wish with all my heart that Dad could hug my beautiful girl…. I hold on to the thought that he’s her guardian angel now, watching over the most special part of my life, Grace Warrior.”
Us too, Bindi. Us too.
