Blake Shelton’s Fiancé Gwen Stefani Gives Fans a Detailed Behind-the-Scenes Look at ‘Slow Clap’

In addition to preparing for her upcoming marriage to county music star Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani is also working on new music.

And, she is even giving her fans a look behind-the-scenes at the music video for her latest song. That song is “Slow Clap.”

According to the singer, the video is taking a unique walk down memory lane for her and her fans.

“Alright. Here we are. So, I get to ride in on a Vespa,” Gwen Stefani said. “Which is like, taking me way back to high school. That’s kind of what we’re doing.”

Gwen Stefani also shared details about the plot of the music video with fans.

“And, I’m going to high school where this little boy is, basically, an underdog and not fully cooked, you know? He’s going to be blossoming at some point, but I’m kinda there to sort of be like, come on, like you got this,” Stefani also said. “And just point him in the right direction and give him some support.”

And, according to what Gwen Stefani had to say while filming her new music video, things were going very well.

“The first shot of the day – real easy,” the famous singer said. “Got to ride a Vespa, which is so cool. Got to meet my co-actor on the shoot, Kevin. And, yeah, we’re just going to school. Trying to be inspirational to him, you know, get him all hyped up for his big dance scene.”

Matty Peacock, the director of Gwen Stefani’s “Slow Clap” video, also shared his thoughts about the project.

“Basically, the video is about a young boy who’s trying to win over his classmate with his dance moves,” Peacock said. “And, we have Gwen, the beautiful Gwen. She’s his guardian angel and she’s kind of coaching through all his dance moves so he can get his girl at the end of the day.”

Gwen Stefani is excited to be sharing new music with her fans. Matty Peacock, the director of her “Slow Clap” music video is happy to share that song with the world. And, Stefani’s fans are very happy to have new music from the new artist to listen to.

Gwen Stefani also said the song “Slow Clap” and her new album were created with a focus on making “joyful” music that was “up tempo.”
