A new episode of “Blue Bloods” will hit the small screen tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 5). And like most episodes of the beloved CBS family cop series, this new episode promises to be filled with drama. It is titled “Good Intentions.”

One storyline fans should expect to see bring drama for the Reagans involves a mole New York City Police Department Commission Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is searching for. Apparently, someone in Frank’s department has shared information with the media. Needless to say, this was information that was not meant to be shared publically.

Frank’s issue with this mole is highlighted in a preview clip of this upcoming episode of “Blue Bloods,” according to Matt & Jess TV Commentary. The clip begins with NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Garrett Moore (Gregory Jbara) walking into Frank’s office to discuss the situation.

“Sid (Gormley) and I have taken a two-pronged approach to find our leaker,” Moore tells Frank in the clip. Sid (Robert Clohessy) then explains to Frank that a burglary that he has been talking to his “contacts” in a certain precinct for information.

Also, Moore tells Frank in the “Blue Bloods” clip that he reached out to the media companies that received a 911 recording related to the incident in question.

Frank Chooses Morale Over Punishment

It is at this point that Frank reveals that he asked his aide Abigail Baker (Abigail Hawk) to look into the issue for him. She, of course, is someone he trusts almost more than anyone outside of his family. Baker then shares the results of “my investigation” with Garrett and Sid.

However, before Garrett and Sid open what Baker shared with them, Frank stops them. He tells them that he hasn’t looked at Baker’s findings. He also says that he does not want to know what she found. “Because if I knew, I would be duty bound to act,” Frank also tells them

Sid and Garrett are unsurprisingly confused by their boss’s request. Frank – being the Frank Reagan fans know and love – then explains why he doesn’t want to know who the mole is. He also explains why he doesn’t want to see that person punished.

“The boots on the ground got a big kick out of it,” Frank explains. “A boost in morale at a time where it is sorely needed. I ain’t about to throw a wet blanket on a boost in cop’s morale.”
