Conflict is something that is all too familiar for the characters of “Blue Bloods.”
Often, the conflict the main characters – most of whom are part of the Reagan family – experience comes from their work with the New York City Police Department. But, on some occasions, the members of the Reagan do find themselves arguing with one another.
According to Matt & Jess TV Commentary, two Reagan family members who will find themselves in conflict during an upcoming episode of “Blue Bloods” are Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and his wife, Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray).
So, what will happen that will bring about the conflict between Jamie and Eddie? Well, it turns out that a houseguest will put a lot of stress on their marriage.
That houseguest is Eddie’s father, Armin Janko (William Sadler). Now, in-laws aren’t always welcome houseguests for many couples – no matter how fond people may be of them. But another factor makes Armin’s appearance in the couple’s home even more stressful. That factor is that he is a convicted criminal. So, it shouldn’t be all that surprising that Armin’s presence in his home is something that stresses Jamie Reagan out more than a little bit.
It’s probably safe to assume that Jamie and Eddie will argue about Armin staying in their home during this upcoming episode of “Blue Bloods.”
The question that remains is what will it be about his visit that sets them off. Will Armin’s presence alone be enough for Jamie to start an argument? Could Eddie and Jamie argue about how long her father plans to stay with them? Or, could Armin do something that makes his presence much more stressful than him merely staying with his daughter and son-in-law?
Fans of the popular family cop drama will have to watch to find out. This upcoming episode is titled “Good Intentions.” It will air on Friday, Nov. 5, on CBS. This “Blue Bloods” episode – like the others before and after it – will air at 10 p.m. (Eastern) and 9 p.m. (Central).
Eddie’s Father Has Appeared in Previous Episodes of ‘Blue Bloods’
The Friday, Nov. 5, episode of “Blue Bloods” is not the first time fans of the show have seen Eddie Janko’s father, Armin Janko.
According to IMDb, William Sadler first played the character during a 2015 episode titled, “Absolute Power.” This episode was the second episode of the show’s sixth season.
The second time Sadler appeared in “Blue Bloods” as Eddie’s father was in 2019. This was the 21st episode of the show’s ninth season. It was titled “Identity.”
The upcoming “Good Intentions” episode is Sadler’s third appearance as Armin Janko.
If actor William Sadler looks familiar to you it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. The 71-year-old actor has appeared in many popular films and television shows during his career. Some of his movie work includes roles in such films as “The Shawshank Redemption,” “The Mist,” and “Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey.”
Sadler has also worked on such television series as “Damages,” “Homeland,” and “The Blacklist.”
