Is there a better crime-fighting duo on TV than Danny Reagan and Maria Baez of Blue Bloods? The pairing of Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez has made for detective gold going on eight years now. And if Wahlberg’s recent tweet is any indication, they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.

Ask any of Donnie Wahlberg’s co-stars on Blue Bloods, and they’ll tell you that Danny Reagan is a riot on set. The man loves to sing and dance, okay? And who can blame him? He’s literally a professional musical artist with a massively popular boy band.

All of this is to say that the Danny Reagan actor knows how to cut loose between takes on the set of Blue Bloods. It looks like that’s exactly what he did with on-screen partner Marisa Ramirez on location at a hardware store.

Donnie Wahlberg shared the tweet to wish his fans a happy Friday and prepare them for the upcoming episode of Blue Bloods. As always, they appreciated his update.

“I’m thinking hardware store staff assaulted by thieves, I’m thinking hardware store manager killed by former staff member but I’m mostly thinking how great you both look and how the bad guys in script are in for trouble,” one Blue Bloods fan wrote in an attempt to figure out what the hardware store scene might entail.

Others were just plain excited for a new episode of the hit CBS police drama, and we don’t blame them.

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Marisa Ramirez Doesn’t Really Know Why She Kept Getting Police Roles

An unfortunate reality of the entertainment industry is its tendency to put people in boxes. Countless actors have suffered from being seen as a single character they played in the past. However, sometimes, being typecast can work to an actor’s advantage.

Take Marisa Ramirez, for example. One day, she started getting offered police roles in shows like Against the Wall and Body of Proof. She doesn’t know exactly why they started coming her way, but she has a few ideas.

“There was a phase where I was the crying girlfriend. It was the sad girlfriend. It was like a bunch of guest star roles that was happening for a little while. Then maybe something happened in my personal life, where I just kind of evolved as a person and found some strength that was being seen in these casting rooms, and I just kept being cast as a cop,” Ramirez told PopCulture in March.

Blue Bloods fans are happy things played out this way for Marisa. It’s hard to picture another partner by Danny Reagan’s side (no offense to Jennifer Esposito’s Jackie Curatola).
