‘Blue Bloods’ Star Donnie Wahlberg Sends Heartfelt Message to Fans: ‘You Are Loved’

ā€¢

While some fans recognize Donnie Wahlberg as Detective Danny Reagan on “Blue Bloods,” others adore him as the lead singer for boy band “New Kids On The Block.”

On Twitter, Wahlberg lovingly refers to these fans as “Blockheads” or the “BH Fam.” He even started up a hashtag/catchphrase associated with the band, #loveeternal.

The “Blue Bloods” star will periodically call out to his fans on Twitter, personifying his philosophy to “spread love.” Yesterday, Wahlberg posted a selfie of himself grinning along with a heartfelt message to his Blockheads.

“BH Fam ā€” Good morning. You are loved. Always will be. Make today special. #loveeternal,” Wahlberg said.

Fans Respond to Wahlberg’s Loving Post

Wahlberg’s message was simple but meaningful, managing to feel authentic when paired with that boyish grin. Over one thousand fans responded to the post, most wishing the “Blue Bloods” star to also have a good morning.

The Blockheads also expressed their excitement for NKOTB’s upcoming concert at Fenway Park on August 6. It’ll be the band’s first in-person appearance since the start of the pandemic.

Twitter user Lexi Hall quote tweeted the “Blue Bloods” actor’s message and captioned it, “We love you too @DonnieWahlberg You are definitely a very well-loved guy and we are so blessed to have you in our lives #BHLove#loveeternal.”

“His smile is so heartwarming and his hugs life-changing,” another user commented.

Though it probably took little effort on the “Blue Bloods” star’s part to post the selfie and message, it had a big impact on several fans. While most responded like the ones above, others sincerely expressed their thanks for Wahlberg’s words.

“Donnie. I really needed this today. I am being laid off from my job after 20 years of service. Getting nervous about the change in career and the life that Iā€™m used to. I have always been the motivator and cheerleader to those around me like you are. Thanks for being mine,” Twitter user Renee wrote.

Fan JennyRae also said, “Dear Donnie, I have always looked forward to your words of wisdom. They have been a source of inspiration for me to help pull me Out of the dark. Because not everybody knows that I was slipping into a depression. You and God saved me. #loveeternal #cancerfighter.”

The relationship between fellow Blockheads and Wahlberg himself seems pretty strong. Several fans are looking forward to feeling the “energy” of all that Blockhead love at the upcoming Fenway Park concert.
