“Blue Bloods” star Marisa Ramirez is getting in the Halloween spirit with a creepy throwback post on social media.

The Maria Baez actress shared a photo from a magazine shoot in the nineties that drew on the movie “Scream” – a 1996 hit that starred Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Skeet Ulrich and Jamie Kennedy, among others, and also featured Drew Barrymore.

“Spooky @seventeen mag shoot circa 199? Waaaaay back Wednesday,” Ramirez posted on Wednesday afternoon.

Marisa Ramirez Is Comfortable on ‘Blue Bloods’

The “Blue Bloods” star joined the cast in Season 3, for what she initially thought would be a few episodes. But they kept inviting her back, and soon Baez was a central character on the show.

In an interview with PopCulture this past March, Ramirez said “Blue Bloods” has been a unique experience for her. This is the longest-running job she’s had, and her co-stars, like Donnie Wahlberg and Vanessa Ray, are such friendly people.

“Donnie was so welcoming,” Ramirez said of her introduction to the show. “And we just hit it off from day one, and have developed such a friendship from that moment until now.”

Ramirez works particularly closely with Wahlberg, as their two characters have a close platonic bond. The actors have said they’re constantly cracking each other up and having fun on the set.

“Other jobs I’ve had… I’m three years with this person or three months with this person, but this is now… we’re at eight years,” Ramirez said. ” You hear so many horror stories about actors who worked together so long, and they secretly hate each other. And we just love each other… I’m so excited to be at work with him and to feel safe with someone who knows me.”

Season 12, Episode 5 Is Due Out on Nov. 5

“Blue Bloods” fans have been enjoying Season 12 of the hit CBS show, but it recently went on a two-week hiatus. The next new episode is due out Friday, Nov. 5. It’s reportedly titled “Good Intentions.”

As for what fans can expect between Danny and Baez this season, despite some fans’ hopes otherwise, it looks like the two partners will stay just friends. In interviews, not only Ramirez and Wahlberg but also the “Blue Bloods” showrunner have shot down the idea of a romantic relationship between the two characters.

For one thing, they point out, the two cops couldn’t stay partners if they got romantically involved, which would complicate things for the show’s writers, who would have to write two separate scenes (with new partners) where there was previously only one. And the actors don’t want to split up to do those scenes. They have too much fun palling around on set.

So, despite the drama and ever-changing caseloads on “Blue Bloods,” one thing will stay constant: Danny and Baez, partners and friends.
