‘Blue Bloods’ Star Tom Selleck’s Daughter Hannah Shows Off Her ‘Happy Place’ in Stunning Mountain Snaps

Recently, “Blue Bloods” actor Tom Selleck’s daughter seems to be living the dream. Per Hannah Selleck’s Instagram, she’s enjoying gorgeous mountain views on a mini-vacation in Aspen, Colorado.

Hannah called the location her “happy place.” She certainly looks happy, posing on a rock overlooking a beautiful lake, with pine trees and mountains rising in the background behind her. The “Blue Bloods” star’s daughter even brought along fellow model and polo player Nic Roldan.

The two look pretty cozy in Hannah’s post. While Roldan snaps the selfie, Hannah has both arms wrapped around his chest from behind while resting her chin on his shoulder. According to Amo Mama, Roldan and Hannah Selleck have been dating since at least this past May.

The outlet says Roldan is a rather famous American polo player, once even captaining Prince Harry’s polo charity team in 2010. The two must have bonded over their love of horses, given that Hannah rides professionally.

While the “Blue Bloods” actor’s daughter didn’t say how long she’d be gone, we know she’ll be back in California by this weekend. In an earlier Instagram post, Hannah showed herself preparing for a competition at Sonoma Horse Park.

How Did ‘Blue Bloods’ Actor Tom Selleck’s Daughter Become a Professional Equestrian?

Despite her famous parents’ acting careers, that wasn’t the path Hannah Selleck wanted to take growing up. According to Best Life, the “Blue Bloods” star moved out of L.A. and onto a 65-acre ranch after Hannah was born. He wanted to focus on raising a family with his second wife, Jillie Joan Mack.

Hannah quickly fell in love with horseback riding, competing from a young age and deciding while in college to pursue it professionally. A few months ago, she talked to Equestrian Living about her journey from horse enthusiast to pro equestrian.

“Because [my parents are] both artists, they believe in the idea that you have to be very passionate about what you do to be successful,” Hannah said. “They encouraged me to be passionate about it and immersed in it. And from there it was kind of on me how much I wanted it. They always let me take the lead.”

In addition to riding and competing, the “Blue Bloods” star’s daughter also owns a breeding and training facility. Hannah opened Descanso Farm in 2010 to raise young horses for competition. She’s working with five horses currently, including the one she’ll be jumping with next week.

“With all of our young horses, it’s an incredible feeling when you get to see them start going under saddle and jumping and really witnessing their future potential,” Hannah said. “It wasn’t so tangible until I started riding them. Once the first one started showing, then I realized, ’Okay, this is real. We’re going to have a lot of horses coming up.’”

Now, she’s just happy to be following her dream and loving the work she does with horses.

“You want to enjoy that moment that you’re in—whether it’s in the show ring or training the young horses at home—because we are so, so lucky to work with these animals every day,” Hannah said.
