“Blue Bloods” star Tom Selleck’s daughter Hannah seems to split most of her time between modeling and pursuing her equestrian career.
Unlike her Hollywood famous dad, Hannah didn’t want to go into the acting business. She told Equestrian Living that her star-studded parents never stopped her from going after her own dreams, though, which she quickly discovered was horseback riding.
“Because [my parents are] both artists, they believe in the idea that you have to be very passionate about what you do to be successful,” Hannah told the outlet. “They encouraged me to be passionate about it and immersed in it, and from there it was kind of on me how much I wanted it. They always let me take the lead. If I wanted to move barns or trainers, that was my decision.”
It was also her choice to go into the modeling industry. There’s no doubt that the “Blue Bloods” star’s daughter shines in front of the camera, as evidenced by her Instagram posts.
The blonde beauty loves to post gorgeous professional photos taken of her for several different name brands. Recently, she’s posed in clothing from Tropic of C, Bandier, Vuori, and Anemos. A majority of those brands are also climate-friendly or sustainable.
In a photo posted yesterday, Hannah Selleck rocks a stunning burnt orange, coppery-colored swim cover. The fit looks relaxed but elegant, accented by a gorgeous gold necklace. The “Blue Bloods” actor’s daughter looks pensively out a window, with lots of natural light shining through.
Hannah just captioned the photo with a camera emoji and photo credits to photographer Juan Lamarca. The model seems to work closely with Lamarca, crediting and tagging him in several of her posts.
‘Blue Bloods’ Star Tom Selleck’s Daughter Hannah Successful in Equestrian World
In addition to riding horses competitively, Hannah Selleck also runs Descanso Farm. The self-made farm operates as a breeding and training ground for young horses, something Hannah stated up in 2010.
“With all of our young horses, it’s an incredible feeling when you get to see them start going under saddle and jumping and really witnessing their future potential,” Hannah told Equestrian Living. “It wasn’t so tangible until I started riding them. Once the first one started showing, then I realized, ‘Okay, this is real. We’re going to have a lot of horses coming up.’”
And apparently, those horses are coming up sooner rather than later. Earlier this month, the “Blue Bloods” star’s daughter posted a sneak peek of one of her farm’s horses. Hannah seems to be the one riding it, as evidenced by her caption.
“Always my [number one horse],” Hannah wrote. “Excited for the @descanso_farm foals out of Barla (Baloubet du Rouet x Carthago Z) stay tuned.”
Sounds like she’s preparing to put her new foals to work and see how they match up to other competitive horses. Hopefully, her new horses prove successful, and Descanso Farm can become a big player in the equestrian game.
