“Blue Bloods” star Tom Selleck, who plays NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan on the CBS police drama, has his group of advisors near Reagan.

These pictures shared by the show’s official Twitter account show Reagan facing across his desk with his “greatest advisors.” Take a look for yourself from the “Blue Bloods” set.

Shown in the pictures are Abigail Hawk, who plays Detective 2nd Grade Abigail Baker and is the primary aide to Reagan. Next to Hawk is “Blue Bloods” actor Robert Clohessy, who plays NYPD Lt. Sidney “Sid” Gormley, special assistant to the commissioner. At far left is actor Gregory Jbarra, who plays NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Garrett Moore. Moore also is the de facto chief of staff to Reagan.

These three are quite loyal to Frank Reagan but they are not against speaking their minds when asked for their opinions. Sometimes, they offer them without Reagan’s prompting.

Yet if there are three people the NYPD commissioner leans on in times of trouble, then count on one or all three of these advisors to show up on “Blue Bloods.”

‘Blue Bloods’ Fans Squabble Over Number of Storylines In CBS Show

One thing fans of any show on TV can do is find something to squabble over and “Blue Bloods” is no different.

A Reddit thread on this very topic picked up steam. Look, we all know that Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan [Bridget Moynahan] is going to face different issues than Sergeant Jamie Reagan [Will Estes]. One Redditor took issue with everything “Blue Bloods” packing so much into an hour-long episode.

“Four plots? In one episode? Seriously? I love this show, I really do, but it’s just not practical,” the Redditor wrote. “I end up forgetting names and important plot points and everything just gets wrapped up way too fast. Maybe just put two plots in an episode? One episode has the Frank and a Jamie plotlines, and then the next has the Erin and Danny plotlines.”

Another “Blue Bloods” fan echoed the sentiments of the original post with their own thoughts on the matter.

“At least [the] latest season has some episodes revolving around Garrett, Sid & Baker…. It was good to see them getting more screen time,” this other Redditor wrote. “But you’re right… Sometimes it’s hard to remember what happened in what episodes. And Danny [Donnie Wahlberg] overshadows everyone (imo). Half the time Jamie is just there. He needs [a] better storyline too. Jamko [Vanessa Ray] in the making was his main plot but now that they’re married, there’s nothing for him to do.”

Expect more “Blue Bloods” fans to make their thoughts and feelings known as the show’s 12th season will kick off this fall. Selleck, Moynahan, Wahlberg, Estes, Ray, and Len Cariou are just some of the cast members expected to return.
