‘Blue Bloods’: What Are the Three Highest-Rated Episodes of Show?

“Blue Bloods” has quite a track record for producing quality episodes. Which ones, though, are the three highest-rated ones?

We’ll take a look at the list, according to the highest-rated per IMDb.

First up is an episode from 2020 titled “Family Secrets” that received a 9.2 IMDb rating.

In the episode, Sean Reagan, played by Andrew Terraciano, gets a match from an unknown relative from a DNA network. That leads him to do some detective work and find out just who is this person.

Also, NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck, receives a personal request from a woman who wants her son transferred to a safer assignment. Bonnie Sommerville plays the woman in this show.

‘Blue Bloods’ Episodes Up The Ante in ‘My Aim Is True,’ ‘The Art of War’

Second, “Blue Bloods” has an episode from 2018 titled “My Aim Is True” with an IMDb rating of 9.1.

Regular viewers will find Detective Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg, and his partner, Detective Maria Baez, played by Vanessa Ramirez, on a case. They investigate a number of drive-by shootings that they believe could be connected with six wrongly convicted men just out of prison.

Third, there’s an episode from 2015 called “The Art of War” that has a 9.0 IMDb rating.

This episode, which is the finale of the fifth season, finds Linda Reagan, played by Amy Carlson, in the hospital after being shot by a gang member. Also, Danny chases after a suspect in the shooting. It’s tough for him to keep his emotions from running over but he’s doing it. Meanwhile, he also has to find a way that brings in witnesses without being too obvious.

With all of that drama going on, it’s no surprise that “Blue Bloods” is back on CBS this season. Catch new episodes of the CBS police drama on Fridays at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central.

Wahlberg Lets Show Fans Know That Danny Can’t Have Relationship With NYPD Partner

Got some bad news, “Blue Bloods” diehards. Many want Danny Reagan to date again. But Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Danny, offers reasons why it’s not happening with Maria Baez.

Back in August 2021, Wahlberg and Vanessa Ramirez sat down with CBS’s The Talk for a chat about the show.

“See, we have a feeling on this,” Wahlberg explained. “Will Estes plays my younger brother on the show, and Vanessa Ray plays his now-wife (Eddie Janko-Reagan), and they started off as partners, and the minute they got together and got married, they don’t have scenes anymore.”

So, “Blue Bloods” fans, you can just let go of the fantasy that Danny and Baez are going to be together outside of work.
