Bob Saget shared a sweet birthday tribute to John Stamos.

Have mercy! Stamos turned 58 and is looking better than ever. His former Full House and Fuller House co-star, Saget, shared a throwback photo of the two on the set. Additionally, he shared recent selfies of the real life “brothers.”

“Today is a special day. Today is the day that my brother John Stamos was born,” Bob Saget began”. To say we are like brothers is an understatement. We have been through so much together for 35 years.”

Although he acknowledges that everyone goes through the typical highs and lows of a rare lasting friendship, they have something special.

“But what I have to say here, is how damned lucky I am to have John in my life,” he added. “He has always been there for me. Even when I could be unbearable.”

He described his friend as a “beautiful person” but not the gift of good looks.

“I’m talking’ about the gift of his heart,” he continued. “I’ve learned so much from John, and I am truly blessed to have this good man as my brother. He deserves the happiest birthday of birthdays.”

To celebrate him, Saget implored his followers to stream the ten episodes of Season of Big Shot on Disney+. Stamos stars in the series as Fans can also check him out on tour with The Beach Boys.

“There is only one @johnstamos on this planet, and I am a better person because he’s in my life,” he concluded.

Bob Saget and John Stamos’ Relationship

Over the years, the co-stars have remained like family. They have went on double dates with their wives with one another and have promoted each other’s work.

When Bob Saget married his second wife in 2018, Kelly Rizzo, Stamos wrote a touching tribute to him.

“Sometimes in life, the least likely person that you’d think would turn out to be your lifelong friend, someone who is there for you through the ups and downs and sideways’s- a brother and a confidant. Someone to laugh with and cry with, but mostly laugh with, – well Bob turned out to be all that and more,” Stamos gushed.

Ironically, things started out completely different between the two. Bob Saget admitted to People that they didn’t get along during the first four years of the show, which ran from 1987 to 1995.

“I was a comic, I was married, and John was a teen idol that had gone on to be a really good actor,” Saget said. “We both learned a lot from his acting chops. He had different ladies traipsing [through his life].”

Then something clicked, and the pair along with David Collier became family.
