Britney Claims Her Conversatorship Prohibits Her From Getting Married & Having More Children
The latest engagement rumor comes just weeks after Britney Spears revealed that her infamous conservatorship prohibited her from marrying and having children. Britney also calls the conservatorship abusive.
“I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby,” Britney Spears states. She further reveals that she was forced to be on birth control due to the conditions of the conservatorship. “I wanted to take the [IUD] out so I could start trying to have another baby. But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out. They don’t want me to have children – any more children.”
Britney Spears also says that she deserves to actually have a life. “I’ve worked my whole life. I deserve to have a two to three-year break and just do what I want to do.”
“I deserve to have the same rights as anybody does. By having a child, a family, any of these things, and more so,” Britney explains. The pop star goes on to add, “I don’t think I can live a full life. I feel ganged up on, I feel bullied and I feel alone.”
Britney Spears’ father, James Spears, is the co-conservator of her estate alongside the outside financial group, Bessmer Trust. Following her intense testimony, Bessmer Trust filed a petition to be removed from the conservatorship.
