“Checks new 2021 schedule…Sees 6 road courses…#holdmybeer,” the popular driver shared alongside a gif from the comedy show Trailer Park Boys.
It’s all in response to the drastic changes NASCAR announced. The schedule includes some of the biggest changes in decades. The first dirt race since 1970 will be included in the lineup as well. In addition, there are three new tracks and two new layouts to keep track of.
Bubba Wallace is leaving Richard Petty Motorsports in 2021
Recently, NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin confirmed that he and legendary NBA player Michael Jordan were putting a team together with Bubba Wallace. The car will use the iconic number #23.
“It just makes sense now to lay the foundation for my racing career after I’m done driving and also help an up-and-coming driver like Bubba take his career to a higher level,” Hamlin said of the newly-formed team.
As a result, Bubba Wallace will not be returning to Richard Petty Motorsports. As he shared via Twitter, he believes it’s time for “someone else to take over the reigns of No. 43.”
