Candace Cameron Bure shared some adorable photos of her and her husband Valeri Bure on Instagram Monday. And it’s clear to see how much they love one another nearly 25 years into their marriage.
Candace Cameron Bure shared the photos with her nearly 5 million Instagram followers. In the photo, the couple relaxes by the pool, enjoying each others’ company.
The couple will soon celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on June 22.
“Big anniversary coming up,” Bure told Entertainment Tonight. “There’s like a little pressure. I need to do something extra, and my husband is usually so good and plans the anniversary, but I’m like, ‘I gotta step up my game.'”
Candace Cameron Bure said she’s usually not good at giving gifts.
“I’m the worst. Val always comes up with something that’s wonderful and theme-related, meaning it’s 25 years… It’s silver. So he will for sure get something that has silver.”
But she chose wisely this year. She told fans she had something made that’s very meaningful to their relationship.
“I have something that is really small and not expensive, but I had something custom made,” she said. “So that felt a little extra on my part, but it’s not extravagant.”
The couple is going on a vacation for the occasion and plans to spend some quality alone time together, Candace Cameron Bure said.
“We are going away to Northern California for a few days to just spend a couple of days together,” Cameron Bure explained. “We have some dinners at our favorite restaurants, and we’re just going to enjoy the coast and the beach and one another.”
Cameron Bure Talks How to Have a Happy Marriage
Candace Cameron Bure admitted to Entertainment Weekly that no marriage is perfect. And she and Valeri have had their share of “hills and valleys.” But they are always willing to work on it.
She said being quarantined ended up being a great thing for their relationship.
“Especially with last year, all of us staying home so much,” Cameron Bure said. “I fell in love with my husband all over again. We’re spending so much time, I remember all the things that I forgot about because life has been so busy.”
“You really try to, I always say, put your spouse on a pedestal. And in return, you’re hoping, which my husband does, we have the same respect for one another other… and some days neither of us deserve it, but we do it because we honor one another and respect each other,” she said. “You hang in there, you’re always going to come back on the upswing if you’re in a low spot.”
