Candace Cameron Bure Hilariously Explains How Her ‘PDA’ with Husband ‘Grosses’ Her Kids Out

Candace Cameron Bure can’t help herself. She and her husband are still passionate about each other, even though the two are days away from celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.

They kiss each other and hold hands in front of others. You know, what the kids call PDA (public displays of affection.) And Cameron Bure says her kids are especially grossed out by the behavior. Their mom often posts photos to social media showing PDA.

“I actually censor myself a lot more because I do understand that it grosses them out,” Cameron Bure told Us Weekly. “Sometimes we very innocently tease them with kissing and stuff, and they’re like ‘please take it somewhere else.’”

She recently shared a photo of the couple to her 4.9 million followers on Instagram. Maybe it made her kids cringe. The two, wearing nice clothes, stood by a pool. Candace turned towards Valeri. She had her hand on his chest as she looked up in his eyes. It was perfectly G-rated.

Now, imagine what may happen June 22, when the couple celebrates anniversary No. 25.

“Big anniversary coming up,” Cameron Bure said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “There’s like a little pressure. I need to do something extra, and my husband is usually so good and plans the anniversary, but I’m like, ‘I gotta step up my game.’”

Candace Cameron Bure Says She Has Perfect Anniversary Gift

Etiquette dictates that gifts for a 25th wedding anniversary should be silver. Cameron Bure said the two will celebrate their anniversary while on vacation. She knows to give a gift of silver. And she said she had it custom-made.

Now, it should be known that her three kids are all grown. Natasha is 22, Lev is 21 and Maksim, 19. Cameron Bure’s husband, Valeri Bure, is Russian. He played 10 seasons in the National Hockey League. They met at a charity hockey match. Full House star Dave Coulier introduced the two.

Cameron Bure also told Us Weekly that she gives her children dating advice. She did meet and marry early, so she didn’t spend a lot of years dating. She was 20 when the two were married.

“That’s what being a parent is all about,” said Cameron Bure, who now can be described as the queen of the Hallmark Channel. “You’re supposed to give your children unsolicited advice. Anyone else, they can tell them no, they don’t want to hear it. But a parent should always be there to offer their best advice.”

Turnabout is fair play. Cameron-Bure said she watches old episodes of Full House with her kids. They are allowed to mock all her D.J. awkwardness.

“That’s what makes you a good mom, is if you let your kids make fun of you,” she said. “So by all means, let’s do it. Let’s go for it.”
