Candace Cameron Bure Talks Marriage Struggles During COVID-19 Pandemic
During her interview on the Daily Pop, Candace Cameron Bure discusses how her marriage with Valeri Bure is surviving during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I didn’t know I was going to [love him] at the start of the pandemic,” she jokes. “[Our biggest challenge] was being in the same space, locked up, and then you’re like, ‘Oh we can’t avoid the stuff we’ve avoided for a really long time to talk about and work through.’ So we had to work through the stuff, you know?”
Candace Cameron Bure continues, “You know, I travel, he travels and the great thing was it forced us and we’re like, ‘Okay, this is gonna happen.’ And it can get ugly. And it got ugly for a little bit, but then we’re like, ‘We love each other, so let’s figure out a solution.’ And it was awesome. So we came out of this pandemic so strong and I’m like 25 years and it’s probably like the most love I’ve felt for my husband. I mean, I’ve always loved him, but it just has been a beautiful experience too, and I can be stronger.”
Candace also states that you need two willing people to talk about the struggles. “If one’s not willing, it’s not possible [to make a marriage work].”
