Actress Candace Cameron Bure is doing her best to keep her emotion in check after dropping off her youngest son at college.
All of you moms out there can probably relate to what Candace Cameron Bure is going through. Or at least one day you will. But the fact of the matter is that it can be difficult to deal with the day your child heads off to college. Cameron Bure has to be asking herself where the time has gone.
This isn’t the Full House and Fuller House star’s first rodeo, though. After all, she had two kids before her youngest, Maksim, who also went to college. She welcomed her first child into the world, Natasha Bure, in 1998. They later welcomed their second child, Lev Bure in 2000. And finally, the youngest to go off to college, Maksim, was born in 2002.
The star actress took to social media on Sunday to post a touching goodbye message to her son.
“College bound!!!” Cameron Bure wrote alongside the photo. “I’m so excited for him, although as his mama, and him being the baby, I’m so 😭. Go @maksim.bure Go!! Be great for God!!”
Full House and Fuller House fans made their way to the comments in disbelief. They are like all of us in the fact that they can’t believe Maksim is already going to college.
“How did this happen already? I feel like just yesterday he was going through tricks in a plastic magic kit,” one person said.
“He’s so tall, hard to believe your baby is off to college,” another fan replied. “I understand since I married mine off last week.”
Son of Candace Cameron Bure Graduates High School
Of course, just this past may was when Maksim graduated from high school. So, it was only a matter of time for Candace Cameron Bure before she had to send him off to college.
Cameron Bure posted a pic of her son in his blue cap and gown while she and his dad kissed each side of his face.
“He did it!!! Our baby @maksim.bure graduated high school from NorthStar Christian Academy! We are so happy and proud of you, son 💙. Looking forward to what God has in store for you next. Knowing your heart is set above and on Jesus, you are good to go!”
The proud mom continued with another heartfelt message later on.
“What a day! My boy. My son. My baby. So proud of you,” Cameron Bure wrote at the time. “You have grown so much in character and your love for God. Your joy is infectious! You are and have always been such a blessing to us to be your mama and papa. We are so grateful God gave us to you to be your parents. As well as everyone who has contributed in your journey.”
