Carrie Ann Inaba Drops a ‘Hint’ About Focus Amid ‘The Talk’ Hiatus

Kicking off the weekend with some motivation, television personality Carrie Ann Inaba took to her Instagram with a “hint” about focus.

“Good morning! Here’s a little sunshine for your day… it came in my window and I’d like to share it with you,” Carrie Ann Inaba states in the post, which features a snapshot of a selfie. “And today’s #DailyEssential is in my stories… a gentle reminder of where to focus your attention today… hint… it involves 💐 flowers ❤️”

Carrie Ann Inaba is currently on hiatus from her co-host duties on CBS’ hit talk show The Talk. She announced her temporary departure from the daytime series earlier this spring. She wrote “Bring on the ballroom #DWTS returns to ABC September 20 at 8|7c! I’ll be there! Will you? Who’s ready for our 30th season?”

Why is Carrie Ann on Hiatus from ‘The Talk’

Carrie previously stated that she took a break from The Talk was mainly due to illness.

“I have decided to take a leave of absence from The Talk to focus on my wellbeing. I know you guys understand that health is the most important thing.”

Carrie has revealed in the past that she has several autoimmune diseases such as Lupus, Sjogrën’s, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and Vasculitis. She also has experienced some issues with her recovery from COVID-19, which she had in December 2020.

Inaba further shared that she appreciates her fans’ support as well as the love and support from The Talk family. “I hope to be back soon. Take care and I’ll keep you updated.”

The Talk also experienced some controversy prior to Inaba’s temporary departure. Long-time co-host Sharon Osbourne was fired from the show after a heated discussion among the co-hosts after she defended Piers Morgan after he was accused of being racist due to his comments about Meghan Markle.

Jerry O’Connell has since replaced Osbourne on the show. There has been no update as to when Inaba will be returning to The Talk’s panel.

Carrie Ann is Making a Return to ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Next Month

While she’s taking a break from The Talk, Carrie Ann Inaba did announce she will be returning to Dancing With the Stars for its 30th season, which will premiere on September 20th. She revealed in March 2021, “I’m so excited to share that Dancing With The Stars will be back for its 30th Season!✨I am so looking forward to returning to the ballroom with my dwts family.”

Inaba went on to add that it’s such an honor to be part of the show. “I can’t believe we are on our 30th season! So… who’s ready for Season 30? I know I am!!!”

Carrie has been a judge on Dancing With the Stars since the show premiere in 2005.
